A wall of over 950 Easter Eggs was constructed in Crumlin Children’s Hospital . The 950 eggs were donated by Abrivia Recruitments clients and suppliers. Logistics were provided by Abrivia’s fantastic landlords, Pembroke Hall. The very deserving recipients of this Easter Egg surprise were the patients of Crumlin Children’s Hospital.
On receipt of the Easter Eggs Grainne Kennedy of CMRF Crumlin said:
“Thank you so much to Abrivia and their clients for your kind donation of Easter Eggs to the Children’s Medical and Research Foundation (CMRF Crumlin). You’re support has brought a smile of many sick children attending Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin this Easter.
Childhood illness in all its forms is persistent, indiscriminate, and often devastating. At any one time there are up to 25,000 children who are acutely ill in Ireland and require medical care or treatment due to childhood illness like cancer, heart disease, Cystic Fibrosis, and IBD. Childhood illness takes too much. When a child is up against a chronic illness or disease, it’s not a fair fight. It will take their smiles, the magic and wonder in their lives, their innocence, their health, their precious family moments, their fun, and sometimes even their young lives.
CMRF Crumlin will continue to invest in research and ensure that every patient that passes through the doors of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin receives the best treatments and supports possible in an environment that supports recovery and well-being. www.cmrf.org
