Irish online property giant’s daft.ie have announced an exciting Norwegian company, Schibsted Media, owners of the hugely successful online marketplace, DoneDeal.ie.
The merger between Daft and Done Deal represents a huge opportunity for this new venture to go head to head with US internet advertising giants. Adverts.ie will also be included as part of this exciting merger.
Founder of Daft and Done Deal, Eamonn Fallon, will have a 50% share in the new venture. In recent years, Daft.ie has witnessed a huge increase in revenue and profits and has quickly established itself as a principal authority and commentator on the Irish property market.
The merger of these brands, which are considered mammoth on the Irish classifieds landscape, will provide both companies with the scale required to truly internationalise, bringing their online classifieds offering to new markets internationally.
