The recent Abrivia Salary Survey asked Office Support staff not originally from Ireland what was the main determining factor in making the decision to come to Ireland.
31% cited “friends and family” as the main factor in deciding to come to Ireland. This was ahead of career advancement opportunities (21%), salary prospects (15%), work-life balance (12%) and sectoral growth (8%).
Non-Irish respondents represented an impressive 25% of respondents from the Irish Office Support Sector. In regards geographic breakdown of respondents, 28% hailed from the UK, 58% were from the EU (non-UK), 3% from Asia-Pacific, 8% from the Americas and 3% originally from the continent of Africa.
