As you can see from the below video, the reasons are compelling in that Ireland has the track record, talent, tax and technology which are essential investment considerations for companies considering an overseas base.
Ireland is ranked first in Western Europe in regards inward investment by value. Ireland was also named as the Best Country in the World to do business by the influential Forbes magazine.
The Dublin docklands is widely recognised as the digital docklands and the silicon valley of Europe, with 9 out of the 10 global software companies operating in Ireland. The trophy list of ICT firms based in Ireland include internet giants, Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn. In fact there are 47 IT multinationals based in Ireland, who have 1,000 or more employees. In fact the ICT sector account for the majority of Ireland’s annual exports.
