The iconic Doris Day (RIP) had a huge hit with the song – Que Sera Sera, whatever will be, will be.
In many respects a Que Sera Sera attitude can be applied to interviews once they are completed but is there a way, through your post interview behaviour, in that you can still affect the outcome of an interview?
A very good habit is to write a thank you e-mail, ideally on the same day of your interview. If more than one person interviewed you, be sure to send on personalised note to each interviewed as to send to one interviewer and not another could be as good as not sending an e-mail at all!
Another good tip to request a LinkedIn connection post interview in that you are that interested in them that you are asking them to join your own personal professional network.
Following the above simple steps could transfer Que Sera Sera to Felicidades (Congratulations!)
