Abrivia Recruitment is exclusively partnering with a well-established professional advisory firm that supports SMEs across Ireland through specialist tax and incentive-led services. As part of its continued growth, the business is now seeking a Commercial Growth Manager to take ownership of the Munster region.

This is a field-based, relationship-led commercial role suited to a polished and professional individual who enjoys building credibility in the market, developing long-term partnerships, and growing a territory through high-quality engagement rather than volume-driven sales.

The Role
As Commercial Growth Manager, you will be responsible for developing new commercial opportunities across Munster, working closely with SME decision-makers and professional advisers, particularly within the accountancy community. This is a new business focused role, centred on opening doors and building trusted relationships rather than managing existing accounts.

You will spend significant time in the field meeting clients and referral partners, supported by internal resources but operating with a high level of autonomy. Success in the role will come from a consultative approach, patience, and the ability to manage longer sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities across Munster through proactive, field-based activity
  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships with accountancy firms and professional advisers
  • Engage SME owners, directors, and senior finance stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on appropriate solutions
  • Manage opportunities through a structured, consultative sales process
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records within the CRM system
  • Represent the business professionally in the market and at relevant networking events

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in consultative B2B commercial or business development roles, ideally within services
  • A professional, credible approach with strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in the field and developing a territory through face-to-face engagement
  • Experience working with accountants, advisers, or professional services environments is advantageous
  • Patient and resilient, with the ability to manage longer, non-transactional sales cycles
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel across Munster
