Finance Manager – 3 month Fixed-Term Contract

Abrivia Recruitment is partnering with an organisation in the not-for-profit and environmental services sector to recruit a Finance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Finance Manager to join a growing organisation supporting Ireland’s national deposit return scheme.
The successful candidate will report to the senior leadership team and will take ownership of the finance function during a key growth phase. The role involves a mix of hands-on finance work and strategic input, supporting business decision-making while ensuring strong financial governance and control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation
- Oversee cash flow management and financial planning
- Ensure robust financial controls and compliance within a regulated environment
- Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role
- Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience operating in a controlled or regulated environment
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
Desirable:
- Experience within not-for-profit or environmental sectors
- Previous exposure to fast-paced or scaling organisations
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of €90,000 – €100,000, depending on experience
