Job Title: Pet Claims Handler

Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Pet Claims Handler to join our client within the insurance sector. Working as part of a collaborative claims team, the successful candidate will manage claims through the full claims lifecycle while ensuring a high standard of customer service and efficient claim resolution. This role would suit someone with claims experience or a veterinary background who is looking to build a long-term career within insurance.
Your Role
- Manage claims from initial notification through to settlement.
- Review supporting documentation and assess policy coverage in line with company guidelines.
- Communicate with customers and relevant stakeholders throughout the claims process.
- Maintain accurate claim records and ensure all activity is documented appropriately.
- Set and manage reserves within delegated authority levels.
- Identify potential fraud concerns and escalate where appropriate.
- Support operational improvements and contribute to a positive team environment.
Your Skills
- Previous Pet claims handling experience or a veterinary background.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make informed decisions.
- Comfortable working independently within a remote environment.
- German language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
- Positive, ambitious, and eager to develop within a growing organisation.
