Job Title: Pricing Analyst
Location: South Dublin
Working Model: Hybrid (2 days a week in office)
Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Pricing Analyst to join our client, a growing MGA operating within the Irish personal lines market.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a developing pricing function within a business that has expanded significantly across product lines and broker distribution in recent years. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across pricing analysis, implementation, monitoring and portfolio performance while working closely with underwriting, data and operational teams.
The role would suit somebody with hands-on insurance pricing experience who is looking to develop within a collaborative and fast-moving environment.
Your Role
- Support pricing analysis across Motor, Home and Commercial Motor portfolios
- Assist with rating changes, implementation work and pricing testing activity
- Monitor pricing performance and identify trends across quotations, claims and portfolio data
- Support pricing reviews and ongoing portfolio analysis
- Work closely with Underwriting, Data and wider business teams on pricing initiatives
- Use pricing tools including Radar and related systems within day-to-day pricing activity
- Assist with pricing governance, documentation and reporting processes
- Support ad hoc pricing and analytical requests as required
- Contribute to the continued development of pricing capability within the business
Your Skills
- Previous experience within an insurance pricing or pricing analytics role
- Strong understanding of Personal Lines insurance pricing
- Hands-on experience using Radar in a live pricing environment is highly desirable
- Experience with Emblem would also be considered
- Strong analytical and numerical capability
- Good Excel skills with experience working with large datasets
- Exposure to quotations, claims or underwriting data
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
- Progress toward actuarial qualifications is welcome but not essential
- Experience with SQL, Python or similar tools would be beneficial
