Job Title: International Sales Manager
Our client are a leading premium brand in the food and beverage industry both within Ireland and internationally.
Due to continued growth our client now wishes to hire an International Sales Manager based in Massachusetts (Boston Area). You will report to the International Brand Manager in Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading brand while developing your international experience initially in the USA.
Responsibilities will include:
- Introduce, educate and sell to customers
- Managing third party in country distribution partners
- Must be willing to support the brand in market – call out to stores / train retail and distributor staff / motivate distributor reps to sell the product
- To be the face of our client to a global audience
- Rolling out specific brand activation plans
- Ensure continued growth in each of these markets.
- Showcasing at trade shows.
- Come up with strategies to aid the companies growth.
- Building good relationships, across different countries and continents.
- Hosting training events which will aid sales of our product.
Note: The role will be based in Massachusetts for the first 7 month / afterwards the successful candidates will work on developing another international market for the company most likely to be in the US also but is at the discretion of the company. This role will obviously suit someone who loves international travel across the US and or Europe.
Candidates could look at this role as a 7 month contract to work just on the International Sales Manager role in Massachusetts or a permanent role where you will work on an number of different International markets in the US or Europe.
A relocation package will be provided.
- Relevant Degree or qualification in Business/Sales or Marketing
- Advantageous to have experience in the food or beverage sectors – specifically drinks
- Demonstrated strong sales experience 2/4 years in previous role
- Can work to sales targets
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Builds relationships
- Can motivate third parties (distributors and retailers)
