According to FSI statistics over 42,000 people are employed directly within the Financial Services Market and 33% of these people are based outside of Dublin. Companies who have a presence in Ireland include 11 of the top 15 Insurance Companies, 17 of the top 20 Banks and 14 of the top 15 Aircraft Leasing Companies.
2020 is shaping up to be another positive year within the Financial Services Market with 75% of companies planning a salary increase with the projected median increase of 2.5%. The European Commission is also predicting Ireland to have of highest growths in GDP in Europe but with a caveat that Brexit, the tight labour market and the diminishing space capacity in the Capital may have a negative impact.
