Meet the Team – Aoife Davis

Introducing Aoife Davis, Principal Lead specialising in Accountancy & Finance at Abrivia.

Every month we chat with a colleague, asking interesting questions to get to know them better.

Now, let’s uncover more about Aoife! 🙂

1.What’s your favourite team memory in Abrivia?

Hammering the rest of the team at GoQuest!

2.Have you ever met anyone famous? If so, who? and what happened?

I met some of the Irish Women’s Team when we were in Australia for the World Cup last year. We bumped into Katie McCabe, Lily Agg and Heather Payne in Perth. They were sound and chatted to us for ages. It was the day before our dreams were shattered by the Canadians, so we still had high hopes of getting out of the group.

3.If you could invent one new piece of technology to make your life easier, what would it be and why?

ChatGPT has already been invented – my life is complete.

4.What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?

Far too many to just pick one. My most recent one was at the Emirates to see Arsenal Women. Our seats were just to the side of the tunnel. I had a melt down because I couldn’t see the whole pitch and had a few strong words for the steward. She kindly informed me that the tunnel is removed once the players come out. That one hurt.

5.Who is your most listened to artist on Spotify?

Possibly controversial – Kanye. I believe you have to separate the artist from the art!

6.Do you have any hidden talents or skills?

Not one!

7.What is your favourite sport or physical activity?

Football.

8.It’s 10pm on a Friday night. What are you doing?

At home with my girlfriend endlessly scrolling through movies and TV shows trying to find something to watch!

9.What game show do you think you have the best chance of winning?

Tipping Point – I don’t think I would win but I would love a go of the giant coin machine. I loved them when I was a kid.

10.You’re thrust on stage on Karaoke night. What song are you choosing?

I would never get up and sing in front of anyone ever! But I would pick Faith – George Michael.
