A trolley load of eggs arriving at Tallaght children hospital.
Lillian Mc Govern of Tallaght Children’s hospital said:
“The Foundation here supports the hospital through the purchase of vital equipment the provision of special services for children attending the hospital. We strive to ensure that the health, happiness and welfare of our children is at the very core of what we do and we hope that we make a small difference to the experience of every child and their family who come through our doors. Staff here at the hospital look after over seventy thousand children from Tallaght and the wider community each year.
Easter is such a special time for children. The concept of the “Easter Bunny” and the surprise of the hidden Easter egg is part of the ritual here at the hospital now. Every child here gets this surprise –we know that this doesn’t remove the trauma or fear of being in hospital but it certainly makes the experience a little more bearable!
Our sincerest thanks to the team at Abrivia who have made this tradition possible here this Easter. Thanks to the teams from your partner companies who gathered an enormous amount of Easter Eggs for our patients and thanks so much to the wonderful delivery team who delivered them with such a big heart on behalf of you all.
Happy Easter to you all.”
On behalf of Abrivia we would like to thank the following companies for supplying an abundance of Easter Eggs for this worthy initiative:
