I’m Donal O’Brien, Chairman of Abrivia Recruitment, and I’m delighted to be welcoming you to our latest newsletter.
You’ve probably noticed we haven’t sent a newsletter out in a while.
We wanted to fix that.
Life gets busy, things slip, and this is us getting back into a proper rhythm of staying in touch.

It’s rooted in recruitment and leadership, and the piece I’ve included here looks at something I think gets overlooked a lot: the difference between motivating people and actually inspiring them. Motivation has its place, but on its own it burns people out. Inspiration, helping someone see real meaning in what they do, tends to last a lot longer.
