Finance Business Partner
Location: Dublin City Centre / Hybrid
Package: €70K-€85K plus bonus, pension, healthcare
We’re recruiting for a growing insurance business in Dublin looking to bring on a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys working closely with the business, not just reporting on it, to step into a role with real influence over commercial decision-making.
The successful candidate will act as the go-to finance contact for a number of business units, building strong relationships with leadership teams and helping to shape budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews. There’s a strong emphasis on stakeholder management here, so this will suit someone confident challenging assumptions and influencing decision-makers across all levels.
The Role
- Act as trusted finance advisor to designated business units, sitting in on leadership meetings and providing financial challenge where needed
- Lead budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning for assigned units, with a particular focus on expense management
- Deliver variance, trend, and cost-benefit analysis to flag risks and opportunities
- Present clear financial insights and recommendations to drive performance and cost efficiencies
- Support monthly and quarterly performance review cycles, including senior leadership reporting
- Build financial dashboards and reports that clearly communicate performance and outlook
- Work closely with the FP&A function to align planning processes and improve forecasting accuracy
Your Skills
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience
- 2-3 years in a business partnering role within a large, complex organisation
- Strong track record in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and expense management
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders
