Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a broad and varied role within a professional corporate environment?
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised HR Specialist to join a busy and collaborative team based in Dublin South. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a diverse position with exposure across HR operations, payroll and senior-level administrative support.
The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Business Partner and will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of a busy people function. You will enjoy a varied workload, working across employee administration, recruitment support, HR systems, payroll-related activities and executive support.
This is initially a 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension and the possibility of becoming a permanent position.
The Role
This is a broad and varied position where you will support a range of HR and business activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting the employee lifecycle, responding to queries, coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities and maintaining accurate employee information.
You will also provide support across payroll and employee benefits when required, helping to ensure information is processed accurately and deadlines are met.
Alongside your HR responsibilities, you will provide high-level administrative support to a senior member of the leadership team, including managing a busy and changing schedule, coordinating meetings and ensuring competing priorities are managed effectively.
This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, is highly organised and is comfortable moving between different responsibilities throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the day-to-day delivery of HR administration and employee support.
- Coordinating activities throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.
- Managing and responding to a range of employee and internal queries.
- Maintaining accurate employee information and supporting HR processes through Workday.
- Providing support with payroll administration and employee benefits when required.
- Working with internal teams and external providers to ensure information and processes are managed accurately and on time.
- Supporting the HR Business Partner with administration and project work.
- Providing senior-level administrative support, including the management of a busy and complex diary.
- Coordinating meetings, managing changing priorities and ensuring schedules run smoothly.
- Taking ownership of a varied workload and supporting the wider team wherever required.
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who have a strong background in HR administration and who enjoy working in a varied, fast-paced environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- 3-5 years’ experience across HR and payroll administration.
- Previous experience using Workday.
- A good understanding of payroll processes and employee benefits administration.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- Experience supporting senior stakeholders or managing complex diaries.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience within a corporate, regulated, financial services or insurance environment would be advantageous.
