Job Title: Italian Insurance Executive

Abrivia are currently recruiting for an Italian Insurance Executive to join our client, a specialised insurance and reinsurance broker.
This is an opportunity for an Italian speaker with insurance experience to move into a specialised international environment, supporting facultative reinsurance placements and client programmes across European markets. The role would suit someone from a commercial broking, account handling, underwriting support, policy servicing or relevant claims background who is interested in developing their experience within reinsurance.
Previous facultative reinsurance experience is not essential. The key requirements are a good understanding of insurance, strong attention to detail and fluency in Italian and English.
Your Role:
- Support facultative reinsurance placements across European insurance and reinsurance markets
- Liaise with market contacts, client executives and internal teams on placement and servicing requirements
- Communicate with relevant Italian-speaking market and client contacts
- Prepare and coordinate information and documentation for placements
- Assist with slips, endorsements and other insurance and reinsurance documentation
- Help progress market responses and resolve documentation or processing queries
- Maintain accurate records and coordinate information within agreed deadlines
- Support the ongoing administration and servicing of client programmes
- Work closely with the wider broking team on day-to-day placement requirements
Your Skills:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience within the insurance industry
- Fluency in Italian and a strong level of English
- Experience in commercial broking, account handling, underwriting support, policy servicing, claims or a similar insurance role
- Good understanding of insurance processes and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with different stakeholders
- An interest in developing your insurance experience within facultative reinsurance and European markets
- Previous reinsurance experience is advantageous but not essential
