Our client is a well-established and highly respected organisation currently seeking a Technical Solutions Project Lead to oversee a diverse ICT project portfolio across multiple business functions. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project professional to play a key role in shaping technology delivery, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring successful project outcomes across a complex operational environment.

The Role
Reporting to the Technical Solutions Manager, you will take ownership of ICT project governance, portfolio planning, resource management, and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with senior leaders, project sponsors, and third-party suppliers, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of technology projects from initiation through to delivery.
  • Developing project roadmaps and resource plans aligned to business priorities.
  • Monitoring project performance, risks, budgets, and delivery timelines.
  • Supporting demand management and effective allocation of project resources.
  • Implementing and improving project management processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
  • Managing relationships with external technology suppliers and service providers.
  • Providing regular reporting and executive-level updates to key stakeholders.
  • Driving continuous improvement through KPIs, metrics, and performance reviews.

What We’re Looking For

  • Third level qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing IT projects, programmes, or portfolios.
  • Proven track record delivering full lifecycle technology implementation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience in resource planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Relevant project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent is highly desirable.
