Customer Service Coordinator
Location: Dublin
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (training onsite for 6 months then hybrid)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Coordinator to join a small, busy and supportive team managing customer accounts across Ireland.
This is a varied role combining customer service, administration, coordination and problem-solving. It would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is highly organised and is confident dealing with a wide variety of customer requests.
While the role involves managing approximately 30-50 calls per day, this is not a typical call centre environment. Calls are often detailed and require the ability to listen, understand the issue, coordinate with the relevant parties and take ownership through to resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, handling approximately 30-50 calls per day.
- Deal with a wide range of customer requests, including more complex queries requiring investigation and coordination.
- Manage customer and supplier enquiries by phone and email, providing a professional and efficient service.
- Coordinate and manage requests across customer accounts throughout Ireland.
- Process and manage purchase orders (POs) and related administrative requirements.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams to coordinate requests and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
- Take ownership of queries from initial contact through to resolution.
- Maintain accurate customer records, databases and relevant documentation.
- Ensure requests and queries are dealt with within agreed service levels and deadlines.
- Prioritise a busy and varied workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Identify issues that require escalation and ensure they are followed through appropriately.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal departments.
- Support the wider team with general administration and account-related activities as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, account coordination or a similar environment.
- Experience managing a high volume of calls, ideally around 30-50 calls per day.
- Comfortable dealing with complex queries rather than simply following a scripted call process.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident managing requests, coordinating with different stakeholders and following issues through to completion.
- Good computer skills and the ability to work with multiple systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- Professional, calm and confident approach when dealing with customers and suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative team.
Experience with purchase orders, account administration or coordinating customer requests would be an advantage.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a small team with responsibility for supporting accounts across Ireland.
The role offers variety and responsibility, combining customer interaction with administration and coordination. It is particularly suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and taking ownership of customer requests, rather than working in a traditional scripted call-centre environment.

- Hybrid after training of 6 months.
- Monday to Friday
- Company pension
- Healthcare Cover
- Performance bonus
- Sick pay
- Wellness programme
