This is an excellent opportunity to join a global organisation at the forefront of advanced AI systems. The Dublin team is expanding and is seeking an experienced Sales Team Lead to manage, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on driving customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Working closely with programme leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring team performance, pipeline discipline, forecast accuracy, and consistent delivery against commercial objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will combine people management, operational excellence, and commercial acumen to drive results.
The Role
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Executives, driving a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.
- Own team sales performance, pipeline health, and revenue delivery against agreed targets.
- Set clear daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations and KPIs.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, performance discussions, call coaching sessions, and quality assessments.
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members.
- Create and implement performance improvement plans where required.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and ensure strong CRM and pipeline discipline across the team.
- Use data, reports, and performance insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Support team members on complex sales opportunities, commercial discussions, and objection handling.
- Collaborate closely with programme leads and internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence and customer success.
- Review existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
- Present recommendations and business insights through regular reporting and performance reviews.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years’ experience in sales, business development, digital advertising, SaaS, or a related commercial environment.
- 1-2+ years’ experience leading, mentoring, or managing sales professionals.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding individual and/or team sales targets.
- Experience operating within a high-volume, KPI-driven sales environment.
- Strong understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM best practice.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
- Excellent coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive performance improvements.
- Comfortable managing performance, developing talent, and leading through change.
- Highly organised, commercially minded, and results driven.
