Job Title: Business Development Representative – German Market

We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Business Development Representative – German Market to help drive conversations with some of the most innovative mid-market organisations across Germany and the wider DACH region.
This is not a high-volume outbound sales role. It’s an opportunity for someone who thrives in strategic engagement, executive conversations, and uncovering complex business challenges where AI and digital transformation can create measurable commercial impact.
In this position, you’ll work closely with senior decision-makers-from business unit leaders through to C-suite executives-helping them explore how emerging AI capabilities can solve real operational and strategic challenges.
You’ll play a critical role in building pipeline quality, shaping account strategy, and creating meaningful opportunities for the wider commercial team.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Identify and engage high-value mid-market organisations across Germany through targeted, insight-led outreach.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level and business transformation leaders.
- Conduct strategic discovery conversations to understand business priorities, operational pain points, and digital transformation goals.
- Research target accounts deeply, map organisational structures, and develop account hypotheses around AI adoption opportunities.
- Partner closely with Account Executives and sales leadership to design account engagement strategies.
- Qualify opportunities with a strong focus on business fit, strategic value, and long-term potential.
- Ensure seamless transition of qualified opportunities into later-stage sales conversations.
- Maintain high standards of CRM hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and account intelligence.
- Stay informed on developments in AI, SaaS, data strategy, and market trends relevant to the German business landscape.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent or native-level German and English communication skills.
- 3+ years of success in B2B technology sales, business development, strategic prospecting, or consultative commercial roles.
- Experience selling into mid-market or enterprise environments, ideally within SaaS, AI, cloud, data, or digital transformation.
- Strong executive presence with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
- Naturally curious, commercially analytical, and comfortable navigating complex business conversations.
- Experience in account planning, stakeholder mapping, and strategic opportunity creation.
- Comfortable translating technical concepts into clear business value.
- Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
