Abrivia Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading Irish organisation to recruit an experienced Procurement Manager for its Dublin operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly established and respected employer, taking ownership of a newly developed indirect procurement function across a diverse, multi-site business.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping procurement strategy, strengthening supplier relationships and delivering commercial value across the organisation.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective indirect procurement strategy, covering categories such as utilities, fleet, consumables and professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities across the organisation.
- Negotiate supplier agreements, commercial terms and contracts.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation and operational improvements.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring quality, value and service delivery.
- Implement procurement policies, processes and governance frameworks.
- Analyse procurement expenditure, develop cost models and improve spend visibility.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple business units to deliver commercial objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance through agreed KPIs, SLAs and reporting.
- Support the introduction of procurement systems and sustainable sourcing initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in procurement, ideally with exposure to indirect categories.
- Strong commercial negotiation, strategic sourcing and supplier management skills.
- Demonstrated success in delivering cost savings and procurement efficiencies.
- Experience managing supplier contracts and commercial agreements.
- Strong analytical skills, including spend analysis and cost modelling.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
- Experience within a multi-site organisation would be advantageous.
- A proactive, commercially minded individual comfortable introducing change and improving processes.
- Full driving licence and flexibility to travel when required.
