Job Title: Technical Insurance Executive

Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Technical Insurance Executive to join our client, a specialised insurance and reinsurance broker.
This is an opportunity for someone with a good grounding in insurance who enjoys the technical and detail-focused side of the industry. The role will support facultative reinsurance placements and client programmes, with a strong focus on documentation, accuracy and coordinating work through the placement process.
Candidates from commercial broking, account handling, underwriting support, policy servicing or relevant claims backgrounds would be well suited to the position. Previous facultative reinsurance experience is not essential.
Your Role
- Prepare, review and check slips, endorsements and other placement documentation
- Support the production of accurate insurance and reinsurance documentation
- Work with brokers, client executives and internal teams to progress placements and servicing requirements
- Help resolve processing and documentation queries as they arise
- Maintain accurate records and ensure relevant information is kept up to date
- Coordinate documentation and information within agreed deadlines
- Support the day-to-day administration and servicing of client programmes
- Assist with ongoing amendments, endorsements and other technical requirements
Your Skills
- Approximately 2 years or more of relevant experience within the insurance industry
- Experience in commercial broking, account handling, underwriting support, policy servicing, claims or a similar insurance position
- Good understanding of insurance documentation and processes
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with different teams to coordinate information and progress work
- An interest in developing existing insurance knowledge within a specialised reinsurance environment
