Finance Assistant – Dublin City Centre / Hybrid
Our client operates in the digital health sector and is a leader in men’s wellness solutions. They are expanding their team and are now seeking a Finance Assistant for their Dublin office. This role reports to the Finance Director and is integral to supporting the finance department’s operations.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking company dedicated to addressing men’s health concerns. The Finance Assistant will play a crucial role in managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and other financial tasks.
Your Role
- Manage the accounts payable email inbox, responding to business and supplier correspondence promptly.
- Process supplier invoices into the accounting software, ensuring compliance with VAT regulations.
- Reconcile supplier statements and match Inventory Purchase Orders to invoices.
- Post employee expenses into the accounting software and prepare invoices for weekly payment runs.
- Raise monthly sales invoices for retail customers and reconcile customer accounts.
- Post daily bank transactions, match payments to invoices, and reconcile bank accounts weekly.
- Assist in continuously improving financial processes and implementing best practices.
Your Skills
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with inventory-based businesses.
- Proficiency in Excel (and/or Google Sheets).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Experience working with multi-entities in a group structure.
- Experience working with multi-revenue channel businesses.
