Position: Inhouse Legal Solicitor

Location: Dublin
Our client a leading player in the energy industry is seeking a Solicitor to join their Regulation & Compliance Team, reporting to the Regulation & Compliance Director,
the successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of commercial and operational agreements, ensuring strong and mutually beneficial relationships with partners and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on commercial contracts such as energy supply, EEOS, PPAs, CPPAs, NDAs and agreements with third party suppliers.
- Provide legal advice and support to various business units within the energy sector.
- Provide advice on general business law issues of all areas of the company, including but not limited to corporate matters, regulatory and safety issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all contracts and agreements and provide periodic reports and updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, governance and quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, and market conditions that may impact the energy contracts landscape.
- Stay up to date with any changes in energy related legislation.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2+ years PQE
- Previous experience working in the energy sector would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Proven experience of drafting and negotiating complex commercial and/or corporate contracts
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and mitigate risks.
- Experience working with teams across different disciplines to deliver complex technical projects.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
