Procurement Assistant wanted for Global Fleet Leasing Company-South Dublin
Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Procurement Assistant to join our client, a Global Fleet Leasing Company, based in South Dublin. This role will report directly into the Operations Manager. The role will be 5 days in the office during the initial training period and then will be 3 days in and 2 days from home.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and project management skills and they will be comfortable working on their own initiative in a fast-paced environment. You will need to have strong excel skills and be comfortable working at all levels across the business.
Your Role:
- Oversee the order management process from order placement through to end user delivery in line with company procedures.
- Negotiate and monitor discounts.
- Consistently monitor delivery dates to ensure communicated timelines are met.
- Reporting and presenting to management on the performance of the function.
- Work closely with other internal teams to ensure business and customer objectives are met.
- Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers.
Your Skills:
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- Excellent MS Office skills particularly Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in the motor trade desirable, but not essential.
- Possession of a full, clean driving license would be advantageous to fulfil job responsibilities effectively.
