Proposition Manager – Telco Leader

Our client, a renowned Technology and Telco Leader with a global presence and headquartered in South Dublin, is currently in search of a Proposition Manager to join their Consumer and Marketing team.
The Proposition Manager is responsible for the planning and developing of activities that drive sustainable and profitable acquisition for mobile and fixed segments in Consumer.
This is a critical role within the team, the ‘Go To’ for the total segment coordination and view of all marketing activities (acquisition and retention).
The successful candidate must have strong attention to detail, be highly structured in their approach and have a passion for working with and communicating with others.
Your Role
- Using your insight and understanding of the segment you will help design/ tailor new and existing propositions to meet the needs of customers and support the achievement of Segment ‘Detailed Budget’ objectives.
- Lead and own the choice of locations for marketing activities and roll out strategy identifying and verifying key success factors.
- Compile and co-ordinate all inputs across networks, customer proposition, strategy execution, network strategy and customer delivery.
- Manage marketing activity delivery timelines and deliverables with all relevant owners, both internal and external.
- Diagnose performance issues as they arise and implement learnings in future activities and propositions.
- Support segment product owner and segment commercial manager in securing all promo and proposition approvals through the relevant governance processes.
- Devising and securing sign off of overall proposition strategy.
- Work with Consumer segments team and wider Consumer team to improve understanding and knowledge around the segments and the evolution of the technology.
- Present to key stakeholders and demonstrating strong customer and commercial insight and an ability to inform and influence stakeholders to achieve the segment objectives.
- Responsible for delivery of commercial objectives across all KPIs.
- Work with the Consumer Team and wider organisation to ensure best practice is known and adopted within market.
- Generate insight from extensive customer/ channel listening and data analysis.
- Identify key trends, issues and opportunities that measurably improve our customers’ experience.
- Define the customer experience excellence strategy for the segment and manage, execute and track against the programme of key initiatives you have devised.
Your Skills
- 3-5 years marketing experience with a focus on proposition ideation, design and development
- Experience working cross functionally and delivering on time and under pressure.
- Education to a degree level or highly relevant compensating work experience; previous telecommunications / other services industry marketing experience advantageous
- Previous experience working in an Agile methodology is desirable however training will be provided.
- Solid communications and presentation skills.
- Previous experience in Telco Market (highly desirable)
- Demonstratable through experience; ability to influence and steer (highly desirable)
