Strategic Operations Analyst – Dublin / Hybrid
We are partnering with a prominent organisation based in Dublin, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation in its industry. The organisation’s Operations Planning department plays a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and optimising operations to achieve business objectives.
As a Strategic Operations Analyst, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to analysing complex challenges, developing strategic solutions, and driving operational efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with consultancy experience to leverage their skills and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Your Role
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to identify operational challenges, analyse processes, and propose strategic solutions.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, gaining insights into diverse business areas to inform decision-making.
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop medium to long-term operational strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations through thorough analysis, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and maximising value.
- Lead strategic projects from conception to implementation, ensuring effective planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Conduct benchmark analysis to identify industry best practices and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Utilise advanced analytical techniques to assess key performance metrics, providing insights into productivity, resource allocation, and performance trends.
- Develop compelling business cases to support strategic initiatives, assessing risks, benefits, and resource requirements.
Your Skills
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a minimum of three years’ experience in a consultancy firm or similar environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and modelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proven track record of project management and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
