Our client, one of the fastest growing Digital Health Supplements providers in the UK & Ireland, is currently in search of a Technical Product Manager to join their Dublin HQ.
Reporting to the Founders, the Technical Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing all technical development projects and systems for the business. They will also be tasked with taking the business/ customer needs and translating into technical roadmap and managing the roadmap to execution.
This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams and will require a proactive individual, with strong commercial acumen to identify and prioritise opportunities and drive profitable outcomes.
This is a rapidly growing and high performing digital first business with primary channels being DTC and Marketplaces. These channels are underpinned by partners telehealth and cloud pharmacy infrastructure.
Your Role:
- Oversee all internal projects related to technical development, platforms, system integrations and data flows.
- Managing third party providers for technical projects, collaborate with development teams to translate product requirements into technical roadmaps.
- Review and management of IT systems to ensure operational and compliant for business needs.
- Define and prioritise product features and enhancements based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
- Translate business needs into technical roadmap and implement/ manage roadmap to execution.
- Drive the agile development process which could include sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
- Work closely with UX designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding technical product-related questions, issues, and updates.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for technical product innovation and differentiation.
- Understand product management and flow to improve interaction between front end systems (Shopify, WooCommerce) and business operations.
Your Skills:
- 5 years working as an IT or Product Manager, or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development methodologies, web technologies, and cloud platforms, software coding skills is a plus.
- Clear understanding of API integrations and approaches to streamlining business systems and order flows.
- DTC subscription business experience a plus.
- Experience with agile development processes.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to understand the links between systems and flows of data to produce the best UX for customers.
- Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Trello, Slack or Asana.
- Problem solver – ability to work with ambiguous information to determine root cause or drivers and then put forward resolutions; presenting solutions not problems.
- Communication skills -understanding the audience, purpose of what needs to be achieved, listening to the needs of the recipients and present.
- Ownership of tasks or projects to ensure all possible efforts are made to ensure successful achievement of objective within assigned timeframe.
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively to ensure objectives are met successfully and on time.
- Analytical mindset to oversee complex systems and problem solve business challenges.
