Supplier Manager (Vehicle Leasing)

Abrivia Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation within the vehicle leasing sector to recruit a Supplier Manager for a key role based in Dublin 18, with regular travel to suppliers and partners.
This is a commercially focused supplier management/ procurement position with responsibility for managing key manufacturer and supplier relationships, negotiating commercial terms and Service Level Agreements, monitoring supplier performance and supporting wider operational and commercial objectives.
Please note: due to the specialist nature of this position, candidates will need strong experience within the automotive/ motor industry to be considered. Knowledge of dealer networks, Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and manufacturer processes will be particularly important.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers and key partners
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts and Service Level Agreements
- Manage supplier performance against agreed KPIs and service standards
- Lead regular supplier review meetings and ensure agreed actions are followed through
- Monitor purchasing activity, supplier volumes, bonuses and financial targets
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes and cost effectiveness
- Ensure supplier contracts, records and databases are maintained accurately
- Support procurement, compliance and supplier governance processes
- Research and assess potential new suppliers and service partners
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across Operations and other business functions
- Support forecasting, budgeting and wider company performance objectives
- Spend a proportion of time on the road meeting suppliers and key partners
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years’ experience within the automotive/ motor industry
- 3+ years’ experience within Procurement, Supplier Management or a closely related commercial role
- Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation experience
- Proven experience negotiating commercial agreements and SLAs
- Experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS), including manufacturer warranty and goodwill claim processes
- Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience analysing supplier performance and purchasing data
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently
- Full clean driving licence
