Job Title: Injury Claims Handler

Location: Dublin

Working Model: Hybrid

Abrivia are currently recruiting for an Injury Claims Handler to join our client within the insurance sector. This role will focus on managing personal injury claims from initial notification through to settlement, ensuring timely resolution and strong customer outcomes.

Working as part of an established claims team, the successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of injury claims, applying sound judgement, strong negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to claims management. This position suits an experienced claims professional looking to further develop within a technically focused claims environment.

Your Role

  • Manage a portfolio of personal injury claims from initial assessment through to settlement.
  • Investigate claims, gather relevant information, and assess liability where appropriate.
  • Engage with claimants, solicitors, medical professionals, and other key stakeholders throughout the claims process.
  • Identify settlement opportunities and support timely, commercially sound claim resolution.
  • Maintain accurate claims records and ensure files are managed in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to delivering strong service standards and positive customer outcomes.
  • Support wider team initiatives and continuous improvement activities where required.

Your Skills

  • Previous experience handling personal injury claims within an insurance environment.
  • Strong understanding of claims processes, liability assessment, and settlement negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.
  • Good commercial judgement and attention to detail.
  • Relevant insurance qualification desirable.
  • Proactive, professional, and comfortable working in a collaborative hybrid environment.
