Financial Accountant – Newly Qualified
Location: Dublin City Centre
Working Model: Hybrid (3 days in office)

Our client operates within a regulated financial services environment, with a finance team responsible for delivering core reporting, controls, and analysis across the business.

They are now looking to bring in a Newly Qualified Accountant to join one of their key teams. The role will involve a mix of reporting, analysis, and stakeholder interaction, offering strong exposure within a structured finance function.

Your Role

  • Support the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with financial reporting outputs in line with internal and external requirements
  • Analyse financial data and provide insight into key movements and trends
  • Work closely with teams across the business to support financial processes
  • Contribute to audit processes, including preparation of supporting documentation
  • Assist in maintaining strong financial controls and governance frameworks
  • Support process improvements and system enhancements within the finance function
  • Participate in ad hoc analysis and project work as required

Your Skills

  • Newly qualified or finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong grounding in financial reporting and accounting principles
  • Exposure to a regulated or financial services environment is beneficial
  • Understanding of IFRS is advantageous
  • Strong Excel skills and analytical ability
  • High attention to detail with a structured approach to work
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders
