Tax Manager
Location: Dublin City Centre
Hybrid: 4 days on-site
Package: €75,000-€80,000 with a strong overall benefits package including a generous pension contribution, private health insurance and an attractive annual leave allowance.
Our client, a well-established multinational financial services organisation, is seeking to an experienced Tax Manager to join their finance team.
This is a broad and varied role with responsibility for tax reporting, compliance oversight, governance and technical tax matters across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors, helping to ensure the business remains compliant while supporting strategic tax initiatives.
Your Role
- Lead the preparation and review of tax reporting deliverables for group and statutory reporting purposes.
- Manage the completion of tax-related disclosures and supporting documentation in line with reporting requirements.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and assess the potential impact on the organisation.
- Review tax calculations, provisions and supporting analyses prepared by finance teams and external advisors.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for tax-related queries across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support the delivery of local tax compliance and filing obligations where required.
- Analyse and document tax risks, ensuring appropriate governance and oversight is maintained.
- Develop, maintain and enhance tax controls, policies and process documentation.
- Assist with internal and external audit requirements relating to tax reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders on tax-related projects and initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement across tax reporting and governance processes.
Your Skills
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent).
- Experience in tax accounting, tax reporting or corporate tax within a complex multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting principles and tax accounting concepts.
- Experience preparing and reviewing tax provisions and tax reporting outputs.
- Knowledge of international tax regulations and evolving compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret technical tax matters and communicate findings effectively to a range of stakeholders.
- Experience operating within a structured governance and controls framework.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience within insurance, reinsurance or broader financial services would be advantageous.
