Job Title: Insurance Administrator

Abrivia are currently recruiting for an Insurance Administrator to join our client within the insurance sector. This role will provide broad exposure across insurance administration, finance, reporting, and portfolio support, working within a specialised team responsible for the accurate processing of insurance-related transactions.
The successful candidate will work across premiums, claims, commissions, and associated financial processes while supporting a range of internal and external stakeholders. This position would suit someone with insurance experience who is analytical, highly organised, and comfortable taking ownership of detailed operational processes.
Your Role
- Support the administration of assigned insurance portfolios and act as a key contact for relevant stakeholders.
- Process and validate insurance premiums, commissions, claims costs, and associated transactions.
- Review data and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate invoicing, reporting, and financial records.
- Assist with insurance tax processes, payments, and supporting documentation within required deadlines.
- Work with external service providers and internal teams to ensure agreed requirements and service standards are met.
- Maintain accurate procedures and documentation while supporting effective operational controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and overall operational efficiency.
Your Skills
- 2-4 years’ experience within the insurance industry, with Motor Insurance exposure advantageous.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical capability.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to reporting and processing deadlines.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and work independently.
